Teaching

Susannah Blaxill conducts Botanical Drawing and Painting Classes in March and April each year in Mittagong in the Southern Highlands of NSW, Australia. She teaches all aspects of graphite drawing and watercolour painting techniques in relation to the fine depiction of Botanical subjects. The aim of the classes is to equip students with the techniques and information that they will need to complete works in graphite and/or watercolour that are well composed and of a high standard.

Unless otherwise advised, all classes are for a maximum of 6 students and run for a period of 5 consecutive days. Generally, classes are for students who have some experience with graphite and watercolour techniques.

It is possible to conduct classes for shorter periods such as 3 or 4 days and for fewer than 6 students if this is of interest.

Provision is also be made for individual tuition.

Classes conducted for one day each month are currently being planned. Should there be interest in classes for beginners, then this can be arranged.

If you wish to make an enquiry, or if you are interested in individual or group tuition, please contact Susannah via the contact page on this web site. An emailed newsletter to students about classes is generally sent out in November each year. Your name can be added to the mailing list if this is requested.
