Oak Leaves and Acorns in Graphite

Eight Oaks and their acorns are shown in this graphite drawing. It was a wonderful project and I enjoyed the challenge of composing the different oaks together. The commission was given to me by a friend, to be drawn as a gift for his wife. Together they had collected acorns from around the world and have grown an arboretum of oaks over many years.
