Group of Pumpkins
The pumpkin's woody stalks, and trailing tendrils initially caught my eye, and then of course the myriad range of colours to be seen in the skins - a painter's heaven. Some of the pumpkins glowed with colour while others were more muted, almost with a slight bloom overlaying the skin. The bulkiness of the bodies of the vegetable create a weight that contrasts well with the weaving, twisted tendrils and splitting stalks. |
